Dear Friend --

Today marks the 25th anniversary of public charter schools. And while it most certainly is a day we've spent celebrating the fantastic accomplishments of these great institutions, it's also a reminder for us at the NC Values Coalition of why we champion issues like school choice or parental sovereignty in education to begin with.

Simply put: because of children.

Whether it's fighting for school choice, or defending life in the womb, our sacred concern is that of the future and well-being of our nation's youngest and most precious members. What more sobering responsibility could there be upon our generational shoulders than ensuring their safety and goodwill? What chiefer function could a government have—and whatever role we citizens have in it—than ensuring the common good of kids?

Andwhat greater tragedy can there be than that the cost of our political opponents' quest for ideological victory comes by robbing babies in the womb of their life; or children in our public schools of their innocence; or parents in their homes of their primordial God-given authority over government to oversee the moral, spiritual, physical, and intellectual discipleship of their children?

When we fight for values in the public square, we're not fighting simply to win. We fight so kids can literally experience life, love, and liberty. <[link removed]>

It's a pretty serious ordeal; but it is also a great joy! As Jesus said, "Let the little children come to me, and do not hinder them, for the kingdom of heaven belongs to such as these" (Matthew 19:14). What a joy it is for us to say to King Jesus that our faithful service all these years has been in the very spirit of that liberty!

This year the NC Values Coalition is celebrating an anniversary of our own: our 10th year of faithfully fighting alongside patriots, pastors, and parents for the common good of our children.  <[link removed]>

And that's something to celebrate! While we'll be celebrating with you in person at our Celebration of Carolina Values 2021 event (which we'll share details with you soon), we hope you will celebrate our 10 years of joyful labor by helping us make this year our most impactful yet.

We're excited to share that in this spirit of celebration, a generous donor has approached us and offered to match and DOUBLE every dollar donated to our efforts defending childhood innocence and the rights of parents to oversee their children's education.

Would you consider joining this generous donor in celebrating 10 years of protecting family values and parental rights by a $10, $25, $50, $100, or more donation today? <[link removed]>
