Happy Pride Month!🏳️🌈 This is a time for us to celebrate how far we’ve come in achieving equality for the LGBTQ+ community, and a time to honor the tireless work of activists who have fought for those equal rights. While there is so much worth celebrating, it is important to take the time to reflect on how much work still needs to be done. It is crucial that we keep up this fight until everyone, no matter their gender identity or sexual orientation, can live freely and safely. At the Montana Democratic Party, we’re dedicated to electing representatives up and down the ballot who will fight for equality for all. That is why we’re calling on the Senate to pass the Equality Act, which would amend the Constitution to protect Americans from discrimination based on sex or gender identity. Unfortunately, because of Republicans, this legislation has not received a vote in the US Senate. Will you join us in calling on the Senate to pass the Equality Act?
