We still have a significant gap in our fundraising, and our public reporting deadline is coming up. Falling short will invite a deluge of misleading attack ads designed to defeat me. And in a swing state like New Hampshire, they just might work.

Political operatives are calling me the most vulnerable Democrat up for re-election. If I lose, the GOP will take back the majority. That’s why we need to scramble to fill the hole: Please, donate $5 or as much as you can to protect New Hampshire’s vulnerable Senate seat and our Democratic majority.

I'd really prefer not to send you emails asking for money. My focus continues to be fighting for hard-working families like yours in the Senate.

However, I'm reaching out today because we're on the verge of lowering our fundraising projections for the second time this month -- we've got a $21,319 gap to fill TODAY. That's bad under normal circumstances, but since our public FEC fundraising deadline is right around the corner, this is the absolute worst time for our numbers to lag.

Mitch McConnell, Donald Trump, and far-right corporate special interests know that beating me in New Hampshire is their best chance at taking back the Senate majority, so they're watching us like a hawk for any sign of weakness. That's why I'm counting on your help to get us out of this rut.

My Senate race was the closest one on the map in 2016. This means that missing a fundraising goal opens the door for Republicans to spread misinformation and rally GOP voters in the state. In a swing state like New Hampshire, we cannot afford to give an inch.
