Senator Ted Cruz is spreading disinformation about Colorado’s elections! Check out what he said:
This isn’t the first time Ted Cruz has spread disinformation or promoted sham audits. He helped incite the January 6th insurrection and announced he would refuse to certify the presidential election unless there was an “emergency audit” of the results. And now, he has decided to continue the grift, lying about election administration in Colorado.
Well, Ted, we have news for you: Fraudits have no place in Colorado -- a state that is known as the national gold standard for voting! Colorado is considered the safest state in which to cast a ballot in part because we already conduct bipartisan risk-limiting audits.
With a GOP opponent on the horizon, we cannot risk losing Jena’s seat to someone who could lean into the right-wing fear-mongering of GOP officials like Ted Cruz.
