John,

On July 1, it’s a new fiscal year for the National Women’s Law Center.

For anyone outside our financial team, that might sound a little boring, I know. But this will be our first fiscal year under the Biden-Harris administration, and after four years, we’re so ready to spend less of our time fighting back against a nonstop onslaught of sexist, discriminatory attacks from the last president, and instead invest our time and energy in building gender justice and a more equitable future in our communities.

But we still have a lot of work to do to shape the world we want to see. If you have a minute, can I get your input on the Law Center’s priorities for the 2021/22 fiscal year? If you had to choose, which of these issues would you rank as most important in the coming year?

Defending and expanding abortion access

Ensuring high-quality, affordable child care for all

Advocating for LGBTQ Equality, particularly for transgender individuals

Continuing the fight for equal pay

Fighting to keep health care affordable and accessible

Fighting for survivors of sexual assault and sexual harassment

Thanks for your support and for being an active participant in our shared mission in the next 12 months.

Sincerely,

Mahzarine Chinoy
