Folks — Happy Pride Month!

June means pride and we are so proud to celebrate all of the members of the LGBTQ+ community in our district and all across Indiana and our nation.

This month — and every month — Team Mrvan is committed to ensuring equality for LGBTQ+ Americans in healthcare, in the workplace, and in our communities. Will you sign on and join us in urging the Senate to pass the Equality Act?

LGBTQ+ Americans are woven into the fabric of this nation's history. We need to work hard to protect the rights of our neighbors and ensure that they work and thrive without fear of discrimination or retaliation because of who they love or how they identify.

Unfortunately, there remain great challenges for members of the LGBTQ+ community from harmful policies that will have generational consequences. Frank is on the frontlines fighting for LGBTQ+ Americans, recently voting YES on legislation that aims to eliminate discrimination towards LGBTQ-owned businesses. Congress has more work to do to prevent discrimination in all forms, including homophobic and transphobic attacks against LGBTQ+ Americans.

Pride month shows us wonderful displays of celebration at home and across the world, reminding us of the hard fights LGBTQ+ individuals have had and continue to have for equality. Will you join us in telling the Senate it is time to pass the Equality Act?
