There's one thing I know for sure — the most important thing I can do in this lifetime is create a sustainable planet for my children and my children's children.

President Biden's American Jobs Plan would invest a ton into our communities while putting millions of people back to work, fixing our nation's infrastructure, and fighting climate change. But it's going to take all of us to help make it a reality.

The NRDC Action Fund is going all out to fight for this plan in Washington, and they're rallying in states and cities across the country to push for climate and clean energy progress.

It will move us away from dirty, ancient fossil fuels and toward a better future powered by wind and solar energy.

It will do this while creating millions of good-paying jobs. And it will start with the communities that need help most — those that have been hit hardest by environmental hazards and the pandemic.

Yet, there are STILL people in Congress that oppose the plan — and are fighting hard to block its passage and maintain the status quo that has driven us to the brink of climate catastrophe.

We can't let them win. Global climate change is real, and the legislative branch of our government is one of our last lines of defense.
