Governor Greg Abbott is putting on a political circus show for the American people. And we’re not buying any of it.

Not only did Abbott pull a page out of former Trump adviser Steve Bannon’s playbook by asking for donations to build the state’s border wall, but Abbott just announced that he would be using Texans’ tax dollars to put a “$250,000,000 down payment.”

This means Texans will be paying for a racist, ineffective border wall instead of fixing their broken power grid.

And that’s not everything!

Abbott then personally invited Donald Trump to visit the wall later this month. Greg Abbott is doing whatever it takes to rile Republican support up ahead of his 2022 election bid, and he thinks he can get away with it.
