Latest works at Bonegilla

There are always restoration or new projects happening at Bonegilla Migrant Experience.

The roads have been re-sealed within Block 19 and visitors' car park has been extended. The stones used on the historical roads have been finished with local river stone gravel, as they would have been when the roads were sealed originally during the operation of the site.

Bonegilla book feature

The Last of the Bonegilla Girls

“This book shares the journey of three young women from Bonegilla throughout their lives in Australia. Though they may go in different directions, their connections made at Bonegilla remain strong.

A lovely, lighter style read. Although fictional, is well-researched to represent for how some people would have experienced Bonegilla.” – Shelley Knight, Bonegilla Migrant Experience Co-ordinator

Available for purchase through the Welcome Centre.
