The writing is on the wall, team...
Presidential polls in Texas are already neck and neck. Republicans are spending millions to register new GOP voters in Texas. The second round of Democratic primary debates will be held in Houston -- putting Texas on the national political stage. People are finally starting to realize what we’ve known all along: Texas is on the verge of becoming a true battleground state this cycle.
We’ve been doing the work on the ground to make this happen for six years, and there’s never been more momentum than there is right now. We need to know who’s in this with us -- will you add your name to say you’re all in on making Texas a battleground state?
We’ve set an aggressive goal of registering 50,000 new voters by the 2020 primary, and we’ve been making some good headway. Since January, we’ve registered more than 13,000 Texans to vote.
But if we really want to give Republicans a run for their money in the Lone Star State, we need to keep building this grassroots team. Are you in?
Game on,
Michael
