Most people have never had to worry about that — but unfortunately, that’s the reality for our clients. On average, Innocence Project clients have spent 16 years in prison fighting for justice before finally being exonerated. That’s 16 years of missed moments they’ll never get back.

In a brand new video we’re releasing on Wednesday, we highlight the stories of Rosa Jimenez, Termaine Hicks, and Huwe Burton — three innocent people who collectively lost decades of freedom and time with their families to wrongful conviction. Now free, all three of them are building new memories. Their happiest moments are still ahead of them.
