Ron Johnson is one of the WORST senators. An apologist for Jan 6
insurrectionists -- and for Putin interfering in our elections.

[ [link removed] ]A bold progressive just stepped up to run against Johnson in 2022:
State Senator Chris Larson. Can you chip in $3 to Larson's campaign now to
help a progressive flip this seat, expand our Senate majority, and end the
filibuster?

Late last week, MSNBC host Mehdi Hassan told Chris Hayes, "When I saw
Putin speak about January 6, I thought, 'Wow, the President of Russia is
doing his best impression of Senator Ron Johnson of Wisconsin!'"

In reaction, Chris Larson called out Johnson as a "Trump/Putin puppet" on
Twitter. Previously, when Johnson said he didn't feel threatened by the
January 6 insurrectionists but would have felt threatened by BLM
activists, Chris called him out for that.

Chris has a long history of activism. Back in 2011, long before Texas
legislators heroically left their chamber to stop right-wing Republicans
from suppressing voting rights, Chris was a leader of the Wisconsin 14 --
senators who left the state to block then-Governor Scott Walker from
attacking workers and democracy.

At the time, Chris was only 30 years old. But in the decade since --
including as Wisconsin's Senate Democratic leader -- he's consistently led
on the front lines against right-wing extremists in Wisconsin who were an
early warning of Trump's MAGA Q-anon supporters to come.

Chris supports a Green New Deal, Medicare For All, and ending the Jim
Crow-era Senate filibuster! He's pro-union, pro-equality, pro-worker, and
consistently gets elected with strong support from climate activists and
young people.

[ [link removed] ]We are proud to endorse Chris Larson's values and candidacy in this
race, and ask you to chip in $3 to help a bold progressive kick
Trump/Putin apologist Ron Johnson out of the Senate. Click here.

We are carefully monitoring this race. So far, a couple non-inspiring
Democrats joined the field -- the exact type of candidates who lost
critical Senate races in 2020. Chris will inspire people -- and if another
bold progressive jumps in, we'll endorse them too. But this race is too
important for us to sit on the sidelines now as boring candidates lose to
Ron Johnson.

Every day, as we fight for democracy and jobs, we see the importance of
expanding our Senate majority beyond 50 seats. [ [link removed] ]Let's do it now in
Wisconsin.

Thanks for being a bold progressive.
