Celebrate the Life of Sono Osato
Monday, October 14, 11 am

A Celebration of Life, Music Box Theatre

Sono Osato was a groundbreaking Japanese-American dancer who toured
the world with the Ballets Russes de Monte Carlo, performed with the
Ballet Theater (now American Ballet Theater) in New York and gained
acclaim on Broadway in the World War II-era musicals One Touch of
Venus and On the Town. Ms. Osato was a major benefactor of Career
Transition For Dancers, a program of The Actors Fund, and a beloved
advocate of supportive services for the entire dance community.

Join us as we remember and celebrate the life of Sono Osato.

The Play That Goes Wrong
Wednesday, October 23, 7 pm

Producer's Picks, New World Stages

Halloween Goes Wrong: dress up (or not) and celebrate with us on
the scariest day of the year: October 23!

The time is right to see The Play That Goes Wrong, Broadway's
funniest smash hit! This Olivier Award-winning comedy is a hilarious
hybrid of Monty Python and Sherlock Holmes.

Welcome to opening night of The Murder at Haversham Manor where
things are quickly going from bad to utterly disastrous. With an
unconscious leading lady, a corpse that can't play dead, and
actors who trip over everything (including their lines), it's
"a riotous explosion of comedy!" (The Daily Beast) and
"tons of fun for all ages!" (HuffPost). Ben Brantley of
The New York Times calls it "a gut-busting hit," and
Cindy Adams of the New York Post has just one word for you:
"Go!"
