October is proving to be a challenging month for our team, and I’m reaching out now because I could really use your help.

We knew that the GOP would do just about anything to win critical seats like New Hampshire’s First District. Earlier this month they dropped $10 million on ads targeting some of the most competitive races in the country, including ours -- maybe you've seen the ad on WMUR. Shortly after, the NRCC launched a baseless attack on us targeting a campaign event in Portsmouth.

I’ve spent the past two weeks in the district talking to my constituents directly about their concerns. I know they’re proud of the work I’m doing to make healthcare more affordable and get dark money out of the political process, but national Republicans are spreading lies about me and my record.

They know this seat is vulnerable. A Democrat hasn’t won re-election here since 2008, and this seat has flipped four times in the last five elections.

With the GOP on the attack, we cannot afford to fall short of any goals because, if we do, we won’t have the resources we need to ensure voters know the truth about this campaign. And right now we’re still $3,450 short of our weekly goal.

You were there for our team every step of the way last cycle -- that’s why I’m counting on you again.
