Tomorrow morning the Senate Committee on Homeland Security and Governmental Affairs will hold the second ever hearing on D.C. statehood, and People For will be rallying on Capitol Hill shortly before the hearing with hundreds of activists calling on the Senate to pass the measure.
The residents of our capital city deserve full representation in Congress, and now is our best-ever chance at achieving statehood.
