John,
Tomorrow, we get one step closer to a
Run for Something majority on the New York City Council!
We have diverse, young progressives running in 33 of the 51 City Council districts -- from Staten Island to Glen Oaks to Harlem to Riverdale.
Imagine diverse, young progressives leading the biggest city in the country.
A slate this large and this diverse doesn't just happen. Especially not in a city and a state with a very entrenched party machine. It took an intense amount of time, recruitment, training, and financial support.
Our ability to make this happen is all credit to this amazing community who have poured your resources into this work.
But we don't just want a Run for Something majority in NYC. We want them in school boards, city councils, county commissions, and state legislatures everywhere.
You know what I'm going to say next: Whether that happens is up to you. Will you pitch in
$5
to keep building a bench of diverse, young progressives who can remake the face of politics in this country?

Altogether, we have 49 candidates on the ballot across New York state tomorrow. They have the opportunity and vision to deliver material progress for people in their communities.
If New Yorkers want to shift funding from policing to community services, our candidates can do it. If they want to ensure tax dollars are spent helping small businesses and working people instead of tax cuts for billionaires, our candidates can do it. And if they want to dismantle a broken Democratic machine in NY and build sustainable power for
progressives -- we can do that by winning big tomorrow.
This is the change we believe in. Not just for New York but every village, town, city, county, and state in America.
Can you chip in
$5
right now to elect diverse, young progressives? How big we go with our recruitment, endorsements, and support always depends on what this community is willing to commit.
We'll let you know how things go in New York,
Amanda Litman
