The right to vote is one of our most basic and sacred rights as Americans -- and it's under attack by the same people who stood by and enabled Donald Trump.

From voter poll purges and restrictive voter ID laws to partisan gerrymandering and poll closures, there is a coordinated effort by Republicans across the country to suppress voters. More than 350 voting restriction bills have been introduced across 48 states in 2021 alone.

Thankfully, there's a proposed solution: the For the People Act. Diana and her House colleagues passed the For the People Act for the first time back in 2019 -- and again this past January. This bill would strengthen our election systems, unmask dark money sources, enact automatic voter registration, end partisan redistricting, and more.
