Bee Nguyen (pronounced WIN) was raised in Augusta by Vietnamese refugees pursuing the American dream.
After founding a nonprofit to empower young women, she made history by becoming the first Asian American woman elected to the Georgia General Assembly -- in the district formerly held by Stacey Abrams.
As a State Representative, Bee has led the charge for public education, criminal justice reform, and voting rights. She overturned the draconian anti-voter “exact match” which protected the freedom to vote for nearly 53,000 Georgians.
And when radical Republicans embraced The Big Lie and sought to reverse the will of Georgia voters in 2020, Bee
went viral for meticulously shredding their argument.
Already, several of the most extreme pro-Trump, anti-voter Republicans in Georgia have entered the race for Secretary of State with promises to dial up the voter suppression and misinformation.
