John,
Below is our weekly update on voting rights legislation. But first, we want to let you know about some news from Arizona.
The far-right group running this “fraudit” is continuing to put voter information in danger. Last week we learned that voter information was taken to a secluded cabin in Montana. There are no independent observers to oversee what data has been taken, what auditors will use the data for, or what security measures are being taken to protect the data.
Thankfully, Secretary of State Katie Hobbs is dutifully working to protect voters’ information and put this fraudulent audit to an end.
Do you agree that we need to elect more voting rights advocates like Katie Hobbs? If so, chip in $10 to support our grassroots organizing program.

Now, here is what has happened last week:
- Texas Governor Greg Abbott signed a bill imposing new limits on addresses voters can use when they register to vote and which mandates increased enforcement of these restrictions.
- Pennsylvania GOP proposed legislation to make voter ID requirements more stringent and restrict access to voter registration. That will place the burden on working class voters and voters of color.
- Various bills that limit mail-in ballots passed in the North Carolina Senate.
- Meanwhile, in Michigan, three bills passed the state Senate. If signed into law, they will implement ID requirements for absentee voters.
If you are enraged like us, fight back by supporting our organizing program and donating $10.
Thank you for your continued support,
