Dear Friends,
NDN has some very high quality events coming up in next few weeks:
Tomorrow, Tuesday June 22nd 1pm ET - NDN Talks W/Norm Ornstein about Defending Democracy, GOP Radicalization - As the Senate takes up S1, the Democratic effort to defend and improve our democracy, please join us for a special conversation with one of America's leading political scholars, Norm Ornstein. We will be talking a topic he's been writing about for years - the decline of the GOP and the threat it has become to our democracy. More info, register.
Tuesday, June 29th 1pm ET - NDN Talks The Dangers of Economic Nostalgia W/Adam Poser - A few weeks ago NDN came across one of the more fascinating and provocative essays we'd read in a while, "The Price of Nostalgia: America's Self-Defeating Economic Retreat" by Adam S. Posen of the Peterson Institute for International Economics. There is so much in here to discuss that we've invited Adam to come talk to us about the article on Tuesday, June 29th at 1pm ET. We hope you will join us for what will certainly be a lively and thoughtful conversation about the best path forward for the US economy in a global age. You can register for the event here and read Adam Poser's bio here.
Friday, June 25th 2pm ET - With Democrats Things Get Better - In addition, we will be offering our acclaimed With Democrats Things Get Better presentation one or two Fridays at 2 pm each month this summer. We are currently taking RSVPs for June 25th, July 16th and July 30th.
We hope to catch you at one of our upcoming events!
Sincerely,
Simon, Georgia, and the rest of the NDN team
