Advocacy

Opponents of Equality are gaining traction. Please reach out to your Senators now!

We are hearing from Senators that opponents of the Equality Act are outpacing our calls and letters at frighteningly high rates. Please: If you care about Equality, take action today!

Call. Email. Fax. Tweet.

  • My Senator has already said they will vote yes, or is a co-sponsor. This is great news! Take time to thank them - these thanks are meaningful, valuable, and carry weight.
  • My Senator is supportive, but has not yet committed to voting in favor. If you know your Senator is a likely yes vote? Contact them. Thank them for their past support and ask them to commit to a yes vote in the future.
  • My Senator hasn't been supportive or openly opposes equality. Every Senator wants to hear from constituents. Take the time to reach out, share your story, tell them why the Equality Act is critical for your family.

Visit pflag.org/equalityact--right now--and take action.

Want help to personally and directly meet with your Senators? Contact Patrick Cochran or Diego Sanchez for support with scheduling and personal lobbying. We're always here to support you!
