Seattle DSA voted to support Capitol Hill Pride with an explicit goal of centering the BIPOC and queer experience at an alternative to the corporate and police-heavy Seattle Pride. The Worker Policy Summit is on Wednesday, June 23 from 6-7:30 PM. The #BlockTheBoat demonstrations led by Falastiniyat had kept the ZIM San Diego from being unloaded, thank you to ILWU members who didn't cross the picket, from June 2 until police were brought in by port management on Thursday. All 11 people who were violently arrested by SPD at Thursday's actions have been released but may still face charges, a chilling effect on BDS actions for Palestinian dignity. Please call the Seattle Prosecuting Attorney's office and demand that all charges against protestors be dropped! (206) 684-8200
