Welcome Back to Sanctuary!

We are delighted to share that both of our sanctuaries will reopen to the public starting Saturday, July 10.

In the past year, we've continued to be a space of Sanctuary for our residents. We've also found new ways to invite you in via virtual visits, events, and online classes. We'll keep offering these resources to our global community, but honestly: there's nothing like experiencing Sanctuary in person.

If you're near Los Angeles, California, or Watkins Glen, New York, plan a visit-there are a lot of friends who are excited to see you.

Plan your visit!

Visits are approximately an hour long and start promptly! Please plan to arrive 15 minutes ahead of your tour.

Acton, California - Guided tours are offered year-round. Max. 12 guests per tour.

* Saturdays and Sundays: at 11:00 a.m. and 1:00 p.m.

* Additional tour times may be added in late July or August.

Watkins Glen, New York - Guided tours are offered July-October. Max. 15 guests per tour.

* Wednesday, Thursday, Friday: 11:00 a.m., 1:00 p.m. and 3:00 p.m.

* Saturday, Sunday: 11:00 a.m., 12:00 p.m., 2:00 p.m. and 3:00 p.m.

Stay tuned for updates on our Tiny Houses and cabins at our Watkins Glen sanctuary! The B&B program will reopen in August.

We're now offering tour booking in advance through online ticketing for touchless transactions. These advance purchases will help us limit the size of tour groups and allow staff to tailor their talks. Learn more-or book your tour.

Health & Safety

The research on the transmission of COVID-19 to animals is ongoing, and as such, we will be taking extra precautions to protect our animal residents. This includes:

* Reduced capacity

* Masks will be required

* Modified tour routes and interactions

* Wellness checks for staff

Our main priority is to keep guests, animal residents, and our staff safe! If anyone in your group is feeling unwell, please contact us directly to cancel or reschedule your tour. We thank you for helping us in this effort.
