In an op-ed published in CUInsight, NAFCU President and CEO Dan Berger discusses the association's commitment to securing advocacy wins for the credit union industry.


NAFCU responds to NCUA's renewal of PCA relief with recommendations [ [link removed] ]
NAFCU Thursday wrote to the NCUA in response to the agency's interim final rule (IFR) renewing temporary prompt corrective action (PCA) regulatory relief for federally-insured credit unions (FICUs).


Final rules related to CECL, capitalization of interest on NCUA agenda [ [link removed] ]
The NCUA Board this week is set to issue two final rules: one on the current expected credit loss (CECL) standard methodology and the second on capitalization of interest.






FCC approves Report and Order related to the TRACED Act [ [link removed] ]
Thursday, NAFCU monitored the June 2021 Federal Communication Commission (FCC) Open Meeting where the FCC approved a Report and Order implementing Section 10(a) of the TRACED Act.

The Federal Financial Institutions Examination Council Thursday announced the 2020 Home Mortgage Disclosure Act (HMDA) data has been released. Of note, in 2020 the number of reporting institutions declined due to the temporary threshold increase for HMDA filers.
