After two of New York's judicial offices opened criminal investigations against Trump, the failed president complained that “all I do is get unfairly attacked and abused by a corrupt political system.”
But New York Attorney General Letitia James isn't buying the crocodile tears. Since taking office, James has made it clear that New York will hold Trump accountable, and that starts with her investigation of the Trump Organization.
Unsurprisingly, the Trump family can't accept that a woman in power could be the one to bring their empire to the ground. They're doing everything they can to discredit AG James' work. Trump has been quick to call the investigation “a continuation of the greatest political Witch Hunt in the history of the United States.” His son, Donald Trump Jr., followed suit by taking to the airways to insult AG James and claim this “political persecution” is for her own political gain.
But James is not deterred -- she's continuing her work to expose the Trump organization and prove that no one is above the law.
