I'm Maria Nelson, Tom's wife. In honor of Father’s Day, I wanted to take over today's email to celebrate my husband… and disclose a few more of his flaws. Transparency is important, after all.

But as many of you know, Tom also works extremely hard on behalf of our family and the people of Wisconsin. Honestly, to say Tom works hard is an understatement.

When something seems impossibly difficult, like saving a mill or picking up the slack at home while I was undergoing treatment for breast cancer, his first response is to get up earlier, not move things off his plate.
