** New Tool:
Mapping Development Education and the SDGs in the Irish Youth Sector
------------------------------------------------------------

Hi John,

We're delighted to share a new online resource with you: our
interactive map of Development Education and the SDGs in the Irish Youth Sector. ([link removed])
This mapping project will help you showcase your work. It is a collaborative project, which will grow as your youth work and Development Education practice is built on, developed and shared.

It currently features:
* 19 organisations delivering under, ‘Youth Work Orgs, SDGs and Development Education in Practice’.
* 8 educational institutions delivering under ‘Development Education in Youth and Community Education Programmes’.
* 13 organisations/NGOs delivering under ‘Resourcing Development Education, SDGs and Youth Work’.

This is just the beginning... are you on the map?

We are keen to add information about related work that we are unaware of. If your organisation is currently involved in any work that includes aspects of Development Education, global citizenship and/or work with the SDGs, we would be delighted to hear from you.

If your work should be on the map, let us know: contact [email protected] (mailto:[email protected])

As you'll be aware, the Sustainable Development Goals ([link removed]) are a set of 17 Goals which have the power to end poverty, fight inequality, and stop climate change. It is now up to all of us - governments, businesses, civil society and the general public - to work together to build a better future for everyone. This mapping tool will help us share some of the amazing work towards these goals that is happening around the country.

We look forward to the sector using this map ([link removed]) and to hearing your feedback on it,

Kind regards,

Sally

Sally Daly,
Capacity Development, Monitoring and Evaluation Officer,

P.S. There are lots of ways to get involved in the SDGs and youth work in this year's One World Week ([link removed]) , including the Youth Summit ([link removed]) taking place on December 5th in the RDS!
