Happy Father’s Day, John.
Today is a day to celebrate the fathers in your life and what they have done for all of us.
I like to take the time on Father’s Day to acknowledge and be thankful for my dad and what he meant to me.
My dad, Vincent Mooney, served as an Engineering Captain for the army in Vietnam and even was awarded a Bronze Star.
He taught me what it means to fight for your country and fight for your values.
Sadly, he passed away in 2001, but I still take some time every Father’s Day to think about him and whether my fighting in Congress honors his memory.
Today the radical Left is constantly trying to find new ways to increase taxes and reduce liberties.
Whether its though their corrupt partnership with Big Tech to censor and silence conservative voices like you and me;
Their attempts at passing legislation to steal more power from the states and take control of the election processes;
Or through their constant attempts to eliminate our Second Amendment right to keep and bear arms.
Many fathers have made great sacrifices so that we could live in freedom and now the radical Left is trying to tear down everything that they sacrificed for.
When I am fighting against these radical Leftists and their destructive policies in Congress I often wonder if I am honoring the hard work and sacrifice our forefathers made so that we can live in a free country…
It is up to us to fight for and carry forward the values that our great nation was founded on, for our children and our children’s children.
Happy Father’s Day, John.
