Earlier this year, Colin and I welcomed our second child into the world and as our family celebrates this special day, I hope you’ll join me in wishing Colin a happy Father’s Day.
Today, I’m also reminded how lucky Colin and I were that we were both able to take paid leave to bond with our newborn, but not everyone has access to paid family leave.
That’s why I’m proud that Colin is fighting for universal paid family leave in Congress. John, the pandemic underscored the need for paid leave so every American has financial security when starting a family or caring for a loved one.
