Dear Friend,

Today is World Refugee Day, a day that has a special significance for me. Over forty years ago, I left behind everything I knew to begin my life in a country that opened its doors to people like me. I was a refugee and I am now an American. I am one of the lucky ones.

It's also Father's Day! As a father of five, I am endlessly grateful that I was able to raise my children in this land of peace, freedom, and opportunity.

Today I ask you to make a gift to USCRI. Over the next year, we anticipate a dramatic increase in the number of refugees entering the U.S. With your help, USCRI will provide them with English classes, job training, cultural orientation, and all the building blocks of a successful new life. Thank you for caring about these new Americans.

With much gratitude,

Eskinder Negash
President and CEO

In honor of World Refugee Day, we are asking our supporters to commit to an automatic, ongoing monthly donation. Your monthly gift of any size provides consistent, predictable funding for USCRI. Thank you!
