Dear John, Tuesday’s oral arguments at the Supreme Court in cases which will determine whether or not a person can be fired from their job due to their sexual orientation or gender identity, reminds me of how important today -- National Coming Out Day -- is to millions of people. Our hearts are with every employee in the workplace, every kid in school, and every loved one in their family who cannot -- or chooses not to -- come out today. When coming out can mean being fired, bullied, harassed, rejected, or worse, PFLAG is there to provide the support and resources you need to come out safely, when it’s right for you.
