Instead of rolling up his sleeves and getting to work setting things right, Newsom is on a media tour to give away your tax dollars and hang out with celebrities.
He gave away tickets to Six Flags and tacos from Taco Bell. He hosted a lottery for vaccinated Californians only, complete with a “Big Spin” wheel. He’s been publicly hanging out with John Legend and Jimmy Kimmel.
