Happy Juneteenth! For this holiday I'm excited to highlight the work of one of my favorite fellow representatives, Joanna McClinton the leader of our Democratic Caucus. Representative McClinton is a fierce fighter for public schools, women's right to choice, our small businesses, and protecting our environment. I'd also like to share a thank you to all our local leaders that helped protect Chester and Montgomery counties throughout the pandemic. Our schoolboard members, supervisors, commissioners, and many other local leaders all worked tirelessly throughout this pandemic and I cannot thank them enough. Our community would not be what it is without your kindness, support, and love!
I hope you enjoy the weekend and the Juneteenth holiday. This holiday represents an important part of America's racist history and the institutional struggle our past government has imposed upon many of its citizens. As a legislator I will continue to work to support communities in need, highlight their struggles, and act as an ally in the best ways I can. I'm incredibly grateful to serve this district, and as always I thank you for your continued passion for our shared goals.
