It’s your last chance to tell Congress to pass the Raise the Wage Act!

Dear John,

The House of Representatives is voting on the Raise the Wage Act TOMORROW! If the bill passes, we are one step closer to a $15 federal minimum wage — and it’s about time. Congress hasn’t voted on raising the minimum wage in over a decade, and tipped workers haven’t seen a raise in 28 years. Their inaction has disproportionately affected women — especially women of color — across the country, putting them at a higher poverty risk than their male counterparts. If the Raise the Wage Act is signed into law, it will give nearly one in three working women a raise.

That includes:

  • 41 percent of black working women.
  • 38 percent of Latina working women.
  • More than one-third of all working moms, and 43 percent of working single moms.

We need the Raise the Wage Act NOW!

Tell Your Representative to Pass the Raise the Wage Act!

Urge your lawmaker to support working women and families.

TAKE ACTION
