Hi Friend,
It’s hard to believe that Election Day is just around the corner (just FOUR more days till polls close!). I’ve had the honor of being Lindsey’s Social Media Manager for the past year, which means I get to join her at events all across the city, meeting the most amazing people. Here are some highlights of what we have been up to these last few days as we get ready to elect the most progressive candidate for Manhattan Borough President!
Stand up for Manhattan by giving Lindsey’s campaign $100, $50 or $25 today.
This past week, Lindsey visited Buunni Coffee (my new go-to spot!) -- an Ethiopian coffee shop in Inwood. She spoke with owner Sarina about the importance of supporting neighboring small businesses, how coffee creates community, and the role of the Borough President in the city’s economic recovery.
I also got to join Lindsey and community advocates at a rally outside City Hall demanding our elected officials pass Intro 1572-B to bring equity and race to the forefront of land use and planning processes in New York City. It passed later this week!
Lindsey is a fighter for our communities and she is ready to help create a city that leaves no New Yorker behind. Thank you for all of your support in our movement to create a more equitable, sustainable, and livable NYC.
In Solidarity,
Stef
P.S. Yesterday, I got to join Lindsey in marching with community members and organizers from Getting Out and Staying Out (GOSO) and Stand Against Violence East Harlem (SAVE), demanding an end to gun violence in New York City. Paid for by Lindsey for New York
