President Biden has removed the Hyde Amendment from his proposed 2022 budget. This would overturn a four-decades old prohibition on taxpayer dollars being used to fund abortions both here and abroad.
Just earlier this year, Biden publicly supported using federal tax dollars to pay for abortions overseas, and now by leaving funding for the Hyde Amendment out of the budget, it would seem he wants to bring that policy here to the U.S.
The Hyde Amendment has existed with bipartisan support for more than 40 years. However, now that Biden is in power, the Left thinks they have a green light to pass their radical agenda.
A majority of Americans have supported keeping the Hyde Amendment as it is because they don’t want their tax dollars funding abortion.
