Here's the truth: Republicans know that the only way they can win is by cheating.

The Republican party is losing power, and with more Democrats -- especially Democratic voters of color -- participating in our democracy than ever before, the GOP knows that it's just a matter of time before they're far outnumbered.

So, with endless money and power, Republican legislators are making their malicious dreams a reality: disenfranchising millions of voters to make voting a possibility only for the most privileged among us.

As much as I despise the GOP's dangerous strategy, I have to admit: it's incredibly effective. By packing State Legislatures with Republicans ready to introduce every voter suppression bill imaginable, the GOP holds our democracy's future in their hands.

John, we have to act fast to stop voter suppression before it's too late. The midterm elections are already around the corner, and we have a lot of work ahead of us to make sure every American has a fair opportunity to cast a ballot.
