Dear John,

The border is out of control. More and more voters know it. But our leaders in Washington and their lackeys in the media are hoping they can convince you that the problem is already going away.

Last week, I wrote to you about how the U.S. Chamber of Commerce was devoted to spending huge amounts of money to pass Biden's agenda and how they don't represent your local chambers of commerce. I have good news this week: The American Farm Bureau Federation (AFBF) and all 50 state farm bureaus issued a letter urging the administration to enforce immigration laws:

"These landowners are experiencing cut fences, destroyed crops, compromised water sources, vandalism, litter on their property and more. Most importantly, the security and safety of these families are at stake given the current circumstances...

"Coyotes [Human traffickers] abandon people, steal vehicles, vandalize property and threaten the safety and livelihoods of farmers and ranchers... [They] smuggle drugs and firearms into the country... While illegal immigration is often perceived primarily as a Southern border issue, communities across the country are being negatively impacted. If not properly addressed, these issues will only continue to multiply and escalate."

This is huge politically in part because previously the Farm Bureau has been focused on seeking the cheap labor that massive, uncontrolled immigration provides.

But folks like Speaker Nancy Pelosi and Pres. Joe Biden and their pals in the media know you saw the overcrowded detention facilities and the streams of migrants flowing unimpeded across the borders. They know you've read ICE agents' and former national security leaders' comments about how border security and interior enforcement have been virtually ended. They're hoping you haven't seen the latest reports, like the one I wrote about last week, saying that the flood of illegal aliens is still at 20-year highs.

And we know why, don't we? Because the more people realize how disastrous his immigration agenda is, the less likely he can enshrine it into law.

Earlier, Republican governors had sent a letter to the Administration, demanding officials "take action" on the Biden border crisis:

"Contrary to statements from your Administration, the border is neither closed nor secure... This Administration has enticed a rush of migrants to our border and incentivized an influx of illegal crossings by using irresponsible rhetoric and reversing a slew of policiesfrom halting border wall construction to eliminating asylum agreements to refusing to enforce immigration laws."

It's great to be gathering such helpful support. But Congress will vote on Pres. Biden's immigration agenda... unless they are certain that they will fail to override a filibuster. If you and I don't stop them, John, there are simply too many people in and around Washington who want cheap labor or dependent voters. But if we're going to stop them, we need to get ready NOW. That means we need to raise the funds now.

Don't get me wrong: if Congress actually does schedule a vote, yes, we certainly will be asking for as much as our members can give to do anything we can to defeat the vote. But unless our members, yes, including you, John, give today, that's going to be a much more desperate and costly battle which we'll be much more likely to lose.

John, I'm not talking about a few million amnesty recipients, or a few hundred thousand new foreign workers per year. I'm talking about so many new immigrants there will be, no chance to grow the economy fast enough to provide jobs for them or for our own workers, no chance to build new infrastructure, no chance to provide for their retirements or our own workers', no chance to rescue our nation from fiscal and economic catastrophe.

We're talking about 8.6 million new legal residents of America in the first year alone, about the population of two mid-sized states. That's instead of about 1 million per year over the last couple of decades.

After that we'll see about 30 million more legal residents in the next decade.

Six million more immigrants will come to join relatives who are American citizens.

Seven million more illegal aliens will be granted amnesty.

Nine million more immigrants will join their immigrant families, including spouses and parents and siblings and grandparents.

One and a half million more will come as refugees or claim asylum.

Two million will come to take jobs that could otherwise go to unemployed, underemployed or early-retirement Americans.

Eight hundred thousand more will come for no reason other than the government will tell them they won a diversity lottery.

And it still doesn't stop getting worse even then... the immigration crisis will just continue to grow! More immigrants means more families of immigrants who will qualify to immigrate in the following decades... more children born as citizens... and less political strength to stop further increases in the rate of immigration.

If Biden's immigration agenda passes, over the next decade, our legal population will grow faster than China's! Our percentage rate of growth will likely be almost twice as fast as India's! And that's not even counting illegal immigration, like what the Farm Bureau and governors were writing about!

This doesn't have to happen. We can stop this. But we need your help.

We can make sure that every Republican in Congress understands that voting for the Biden agenda means political suicide. Unfortunately, there are enough Democrats who figure that the demographic shifts will help cement their dominance in Washington...

We'll be hoping that the threat of a filibuster will stop Democrats from taking a vote that can be blocked. But again, unfortunately there could be enough Republicans who hope that tens of millions of dollars in campaign dollars can help them make their constituents forget their misdeeds.

The day may come when we'll have to shock the establishment again by a sudden blitz of emails, faxes and phone calls. Should we need that, we won't be able to wait until the vote on a filibuster is scheduled to raise the funds we'll need to do that. We'll need the money now.

We'll be far better off if we can stave off such a vote by striking early... by convincing Republicans to hold ranks or forever be recalled in infamy... or convincing just a few senators like Democrats Joe Manchin (WV) or Kyrsten Sinema (AZ) that such immigration would do irreparable damage to our nation... and even the nations that the immigrants will come from.

Our choice, John, is to build our movement's defenses strong enough to deter such an existential battle for our movement and for our nation... or to wait until a vote is upon us, and then mount an expensive, desperate, last-minute effort to avoid ruin.
