John,

Happy Juneteenth weekend!

For generations, we’ve celebrated Juneteenth with family gatherings, cookouts, domino and card-playing, music, laughter, and an overall feeling of Black freedom and joy. Juneteenth celebrates our Blackness by honoring our Ancestors, affirming ourselves and our people, creating space for Black joy, and struggling unceasingly for freedom and justice.

As we celebrate Juneteenth, we must remember how the history and tradition of Black art, imagination and culture is linked to resistance and freedom. BLM is excited to collaborate with Club House Global and Nifty Gateway for virtual events this weekend that celebrate Blackness and create pathways for Black entrepreneurship.

Together, we are building a 21st century Black liberation movement. We’re so proud to be in this fight with you, John.

In love and solidarity,
