I just got off the phone with my finance director Caitlin and we ran through the numbers for tonight’s deadline.

We need to raise $5,000 before midnight to stay on our fundraising schedule for June. June is one of the most important fundraising months of the year because it is the end of the financial quarter and when our numbers get published by the FEC — right next to Republicans’ numbers.

Pundits, supporters, and critics across the country will judge the strength of our grassroots campaign based on how much money we bring in. I wish this were not the case, but it is.

June is also a difficult time for fundraising — especially in what we call “the off year.” People are less invested in campaigns than in a big election year like 2020 or 2022, and with summer kicking off everyone is checking their email less and going outside more.

However, now is the worst possible time to get complacent. Republicans are picking up steam, raising millions of dollars every single month, and have already spent close to a million on attack ads against me.

To keep up with Republicans and their billionaire donors, I need a lot of support from grassroots donors like you, friend. We still need to raise $781 before midnight to hit our $5,000 mid-month goal. Rush $25 before this critical deadline >>>
