As we’re putting the finishing touches on our list of speakers for our upcoming 2021 NVLeg Wrap-up Special, I wanted to tell you about a few of the partners who will be joining us to share about the amazing work they did this session:
Emily Persaud-Zamora, Executive Director for Silver State Voices, will be talking with us about voting rights and the legislation that they were able to get to the Governor's desk.
From Progressive Leadership Alliance of Nevada (PLAN), Executive Director Laura Martin and Justice Campaigns Manager Leslie Turner will discuss the work they accomplished around taxing the mines and their victories on criminal justice reform. Rudy Zamora, Program Director of Chispa NV, will also be on our panel to share about Chispa's wins on clean energy.
