Of course McConnell thinks it’s unnecessary. The John Lewis Voting Rights Act would obstruct efforts by Republicans around the country to suppress the vote in order to maintain power, and McConnell knows it. That’s why he and his colleagues in the Senate will do everything they can to stop the bill from becoming law -- and it’s up to us to fight back!
