Though Democrats maintain control of the House and Senate, the margins remain very small. That's why Republicans think they have a good shot at flipping either (or both) in the 2022 midterm elections. In the meantime, the GOP continues to battle the far-left slate at every turn. It isn't as easy as Democrat leaders would like to pass certain bills that support progressive viewpoints. And sometimes, they're completely stopped in their tracks. Recently, House Democrats have been pushing a pair of bills that right-wing politicians viewed as far too extremist. Both bills echo common leftist talking points: LGBTQ and abortion. Republicans claim one bill would've given the LGBTQ community unfair preferential treatment, and the other bill would've been another way to fund abortions. House Speaker Nancy Pelosi tried to fast-track both proposals into law, but GOP members of the House refused to let it happen. And Conservatives are calling this a huge victory.
With Joe Biden and his leftist buddies in charge in D.C., it falls to state leaders to protect our rights. We’ve seen Biden and his administration go to war with nearly every value Americans hold dear. And since the 2020 crisis, Democrat leaders have no problem ripping our rights from us. That won’t cut it in the Lone Star State. So, Gov. Abbott just made sure Texans won’t lose their First Amendment freedoms ever again.
For months, we’ve watched as our Southern border’s devolved into chaos. Reports indicate hundreds of thousands of people have flooded the country across the southern border. The month of May was the worst in years. Yet Democrats Biden and Harris seem unconcerned with this mounting disaster. Even as members of their own party call them out, the administration appears to be ignoring the situation. But Republicans are not. In fact, the governor of Texas, outraged over Biden’s failure, is reaching out to a familiar face.
