I’m about to ask you to split a contribution between my reelection campaign and VoteVets. I hope you’ll give me a chance to explain why this request -- especially today -- is so important.

At the end of June, I have a very important FEC fundraising deadline. But as of right now, we are behind on our fundraising goal.

We can still catch up. It’s not too late! But in order to get there I will need a lot of people to step up and give before our deadline. That’s why I have to ask:

The reason I’m asking you to split your donation is that I’ve seen firsthand how this organization supports Veterans. When Donald Trump and his allies attacked me, VoteVets had my back. When Tucker Carlson called me a “coward” on Fox News, they spoke up for me.

I trust that VoteVets will have my back throughout my entire reelection campaign. So please, split a donation today. It would mean so much to me, and it will help me win.
