Hi there, my name is Morgan and I'm an organizer on Nina's campaign for Congress.

I'll explain more in a minute, but first, can you make a contribution to Nina Turner for Us? There are just 19 days until voting starts, and your donations fund the critical on-the-ground organizing work we’re doing every day to identify, persuade, and mobilize voters. [[link removed]]

I spend a lot of my time going door-to-door to have one-on-one conversations with voters about Nina and our campaign’s vision for the future of OH-11.

Every person I talk to has a unique story, but one thing I hear over and over again is that people are worried about a lack of affordable health care.

This is an issue that’s personal to Nina, and it’s personal to me too.

Since 2010, my mother has been battling a rare neurological disorder. This disorder can’t be cured, but it can be managed with regular treatment and prescriptions.

I grew up in a working poor family, and this diagnosis completely changed our lives. The medical bills stacked up. The debt collectors were continuously calling.

Despite all of this, our family did everything to make ends meet and try to make payments on the ever increasing amount of medical bills.

I’ve seen the stress of the medical bills weigh on my parents. The countless tears. The terrible decisions we’ve had to make.

My mother forgoes some of her treatment because it’s too expensive. She lives every day in pain because of that. My family was forced to file for medical bankruptcy to keep a roof over our heads and food on the table.

For my family and too many other families like mine, this is the reality of America’s cruel health care system, where your ability to pay determines whether or not you can get the care you need.

Right now, like so many other families across the country, my family is looking at medical bills stacked up to the ceiling. Medicare for All would change our lives. That’s why I’m in this fight and always will be.

We’re working hard every day to send Nina Turner to Congress because we can trust her to NEVER stop fighting for Medicare for All. Can Nina count on your support to help get there? [[link removed]]

Thank you, from the bottom of my heart, for being a part of our people-powered movement and joining us on this journey toward justice.

With these hands,

Morgan Ferrell
