ATF’s new polling is pretty remarkable.
Not only do nearly 7 in 10 voters support raising taxes on the rich and corporations, it’s a top-tier issue that’s just as important as creating jobs!
Last year, 55 Fortune 500 corporations paid no federal income taxes, despite making over $40 billion in profits.[1] And, each year, the richest 1% of Americans evade paying $175 billion in taxes.[2]
By wide margins, the American people understand that it’s time for the rich and corporations to start paying their fair share. And when informing voters that President Biden’s economic and investment plans will be funded by higher taxes on the wealthy and corporations, it makes those plans even more popular!
