Subject: things at the USPS are only getting worse

Friend: Since I last reached out about the crisis at the United States Postal Service, things have only gotten worse. 

The USPS is one of our nation's most beloved institutions, but under Postmaster General Louis DeJoy – a Trump megadonor currently under FBI investigation – 20% of all deliveries are arriving late and prices are skyrocketing.

This means that millions of Americans who depend on the USPS to deliver life-saving medication, Social Security checks, and critical bills are being left in the lurch. 

The USPS has never been anything but essential, but DeJoy is clearly unwilling or unable to serve the American people – and he's not hiding the fact that he simply doesn't care about all the ways he's making it worse. 

Enough is enough. Louis DeJoy is unfit for office – which is why I joined my colleagues Senator Tammy Duckworth and Congressman Tim Ryan in calling on President Biden to remove Louis DeJoy from his position immediately – but I need to know if I have your support on this critical issue, friend.
