Tonight our fearless leader Elizabeth May is in round two: the French Leaders’ Debate. Did you see how she schooled the other leaders last time?
Elizabeth isn’t like the other leaders on that debate stage.
For one, she’s the only woman and the most experienced leader (not small differences).
But for another, while the men hurl tired talking points at each other, Elizabeth May seems to be the only one willing to face the facts and actually share her policies with Canadians.
She’s unscripted, open and honest. And it’s so refreshing.
One of the things I love most about working with Elizabeth is her authenticity. What you see is what you get. She’s devoted her life to stopping the climate crisis and now—on stage and off—yet again, she’s proving what we knew all along: that she’s the only leader with a costed, scientific plan to do it.
Elizabeth makes me proud to be Green. I hope she makes you proud too. She knows her science, and she is determined to hold the other party leaders’ feet to the fire on climate.
She’s the leader we need and I want to thank her for standing up for us in the debates, in Parliament, and every day. Her hope and hard work are an inspiration to Greens across Canada.
