Team, a few hours ago, reporters in Colorado asked Cory Gardner a simple yes-or-no question: Is it appropriate for the President of the United States to ask a foreign leader to investigate a political rival?

The answer should be easy: Of course not.

But in less than two minutes, Gardner refused to answer that very simple question five times.

What's more, he tried to imply that asking that kind of question was part of a partisan attack effort. Give us a break. There's nothing partisan about expecting our elected officials to know the difference between right and wrong. Cory Gardner took an oath to protect the Constitution, not the president.
