Already this spring Baltimore City has had to shut down schools without AC due to the hot weather multiple times. Unfortunately, this happens almost every year — and it hurts students, especially those most underserved in our state.
We must do better. We need to update our infrastructure and give our students a safe place to learn.
When I am governor of Maryland, fixing these issues will be a top priority, and won’t be ignored as they have been during Governor Hogan’s administration.
If you want to send an advocate for Maryland’s students to Annapolis, will you consider supporting my campaign today?

It is a failure of leadership to just accept these conditions as reality when we need the political courage to act now.
Together, we can make sure our public schools are well-resourced, regardless of a student’s zip code.
I have been a tireless champion for education my entire life, and I will continue this fight from the governor’s office if given the opportunity. So please, I hope you’ll consider supporting my campaign today.
